Cellulite also known as “Orange Peel Skin” is a condition in which the skin has a dimpled, lumpy appearance. It happens when fat deposits push through the connective tissue beneath the skin.
It usually affects the buttocks and thighs, but it can occur other areas too. Cellulite affects both men and women, however is more common in women. Between 80 and 90 percent of women experience cellulite at some point in their lives.
Cellulite can be caused by diet, smoking and lack of exercise as well as hormonal factors.
